Lekin kya aapko pata hai ki Sensex aur Nifty actually kya hote hain? Stock Market mein inka kya role hai? Aur inke upar-niche hone ka matlab kya hai?
Chaliye isko simple Hinglish mein samajhte hain.
Stock Market ek marketplace hai jahan companies ke shares buy aur sell kiye jaate hain.
Simple example:
Maan lo ek company ke 1 lakh shares hain. Agar aap us company ka share kharidte ho, to aap us company mein ek chhota sa ownership stake hold karte ho.
India mein do major stock exchanges hain:
BSE Asia ka oldest stock exchange hai, jabki NSE 1990s mein establish hua tha.
Sensex BSE ka major benchmark stock-market index hai.
Sensex mein 30 major companies ke stocks included hote hain. Isliye jab hum news mein sunte hain:
"Sensex aaj 500 points gir gaya"
iska matlab ye nahi hai ki India ki har company ka share 500 points gir gaya.
Iska matlab hai ki Sensex mein included companies ke overall index movement mein decline hua hai.
Agar Sensex:
72,000 → 73,000
ho jata hai, to iska matlab benchmark index ki value increase hui hai.
Agar:
73,000 → 72,000
ho jata hai, to index mein decline hua.
Nifty 50, NSE ka major benchmark index hai.
Ismein 50 diversified stocks hote hain jo different sectors ko represent karte hain. NSE ke according, Nifty 50 ko benchmark portfolios, index funds aur index-based derivatives jaise purposes ke liye use kiya jata hai.
Simple language mein:
Sensex = BSE ka major benchmark
Nifty 50 = NSE ka major benchmark
| Sensex | Nifty 50 |
|---|---|
| BSE ka benchmark index | NSE ka benchmark index |
| 30 companies | 50 companies |
| BSE se associated | NSE se associated |
| Indian equity market ko track karne ka benchmark | Indian equity market ko track karne ka benchmark |
Dono ka purpose broadly market movement ko samajhne mein help karna hai, lekin dono ke constituents aur methodology different hain.
Stock market mein prices continuously change hote rehte hain.
Kuch important factors hain:
Agar kisi company ka result expected se better aata hai, investors uske shares ko buy kar sakte hain.
Agar results weak aaye, selling pressure aa sakta hai.
US, Europe aur Asian markets ki movement bhi Indian market sentiment ko affect kar sakti hai.
Interest rates mein changes borrowing, investment aur company valuations ko affect kar sakte hain.
India ek major crude-oil importer hai, isliye oil prices mein significant changes Indian economy aur companies ke costs ko affect kar sakte hain.
Foreign institutional/investment flows bhi market movement par impact daal sakte hain.
Aapke screenshot mein 28 September 2026 ka BSE market data dikh raha hai.
Us din:
BSE Sensex: 72,771.72
Change: -1,124.02 points
Change %: -1.52%
Nifty 50 bhi 22,780 ke aas-paas close hua aur approximately 1.56% down raha.
Reports ne us day's decline ke factors mein higher crude-oil prices, geopolitical uncertainty, weak global cues aur foreign selling ko highlight kiya.
Iska simple meaning:
Market mein overall selling pressure tha, isliye major benchmark indices neeche aaye.
Nahi.
Ye ek important point hai.
Sensex aur Nifty kuch selected stocks ka index hain. Isliye index ke movement ko dekhkar ye assume nahi karna chahiye ki har individual stock exactly same percentage se move hua.
Ek particular stock:
+3%
ho sakta hai,
jabki doosra:
-4%
ho sakta hai.
Index overall weighted movement ko represent karta hai.
NSE bhi explain karta hai ki index movements market ki future corporate prospects ke expectations ko reflect kar sakte hain.
Agar aap stock market mein beginner ho, to sirf ye dekhna enough nahi hai:
"Nifty aaj green hai ya red?"
Aapko ye concepts bhi samajhne chahiye:
Stock market mein profit bhi ho sakta hai aur loss bhi.
Sirf kisi stock ke price increase ko dekhkar investment decision lena risky ho sakta hai. Company ke fundamentals, valuation, business, financial results aur risk ko samajhna important hai.
Educational purpose ke liye market ko samajhna aur kisi specific stock ko buy/sell karne ki recommendation alag cheezein hain.
Simple words mein:
Stock Market = Shares ki buying aur selling ka marketplace.
BSE = Bombay Stock Exchange.
NSE = National Stock Exchange.
Sensex = BSE ka 30-stock benchmark index.
Nifty 50 = NSE ka 50-stock benchmark index.
Jab Sensex ya Nifty upar jaate hain, generally benchmark stocks mein positive movement reflect hoti hai.
Jab Sensex ya Nifty neeche jaate hain, generally benchmark stocks mein negative movement reflect hoti hai.
Isliye agar aap stock market seekhna start kar rahe ho, to Sensex aur Nifty ko samajhna ek important first step hai
